While Don't Wait!: Build Retro Games and Level Up Your Skills makes several valuable points about Indie Game Development, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of Creative Tech seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to 2D Games. That said, the sections on Arcade Development are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in Learning to Code, this could be a truly outstanding work.
