I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Data Visualization+Blender/Scripting/Python All-in-One (Paperback), but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains Blender scripting made everything click for me. I've been struggling with visual programming for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about interactive models - it reminded me so much of my own experience with animation. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

While Data Visualization+Blender/Scripting/Python All-in-One (Paperback) makes several valuable points about open-source tools, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of Python seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to scientific visualization. That said, the sections on Python are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in visual programming, this could be a truly outstanding work.
