As a scholar in Game Animation, I found Beginner's Guide to Game Animation Programming to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to Interactive Media is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of Animation Systems, which offers a compelling framework for understanding Computer Graphics. While some may argue that Game Development, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about Game Animation.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Beginner's Guide to Game Animation Programming, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains Animation Systems made everything click for me. I've been struggling with Animation Systems for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about Beginner Guide - it reminded me so much of my own experience with Graphics. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

Beginner's Guide to Game Animation Programming is a comprehensive exploration of Game Animation that manages to be both accessible to newcomers and valuable to experts. The book is divided into 7 sections, each building thoughtfully on the last. Part 2's discussion of Interactive Media is particularly strong, with clear examples and practical applications. The diagrams and illustrations throughout help clarify complex ideas, and the chapter summaries are excellent for review. My only minor critique is that some examples felt dated, but this doesn't detract from the overall quality. This will undoubtedly become a standard reference in the field.
