While Paper to Play in 20 Minutes makes several valuable points about Game Design, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of Game Prototyping seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to Rapid Game Development. That said, the sections on Paper Prototyping are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in Indie Game Development, this could be a truly outstanding work.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Paper to Play in 20 Minutes, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains Game Prototyping made everything click for me. I've been struggling with Game Prototyping for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about Iterative Design - it reminded me so much of my own experience with Paper Prototyping. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

As a scholar in Game Prototyping, I found Paper to Play in 20 Minutes to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to Game Design is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of Game Prototyping, which offers a compelling framework for understanding Iterative Design. While some may argue that Indie Game Development, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about Game Prototyping.
