While WebGPU (Graphics and Compute) API in 20 Minutes: (Coffee Break Series) makes several valuable points about graphics, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of compute seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to wgsl. That said, the sections on wgsl are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in graphics, this could be a truly outstanding work.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with WebGPU (Graphics and Compute) API in 20 Minutes: (Coffee Break Series), but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains simulation made everything click for me. I've been struggling with wgsl for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about javascript - it reminded me so much of my own experience with compute. I've already recommended it to all my friends!
