WebGL+GLSL/Graphics/Compute All-in-One (Paperback) is a comprehensive exploration of WebGL that manages to be both accessible to newcomers and valuable to experts. The book is divided into 3 sections, each building thoughtfully on the last. Part 5's discussion of compute is particularly strong, with clear examples and practical applications. The diagrams and illustrations throughout help clarify complex ideas, and the chapter summaries are excellent for review. My only minor critique is that more primary sources would strengthen the argument, but this doesn't detract from the overall quality. This will undoubtedly become a standard reference in the field.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with WebGL+GLSL/Graphics/Compute All-in-One (Paperback), but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains GLSL made everything click for me. I've been struggling with GPU for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about GPU - it reminded me so much of my own experience with compute. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

While WebGL+GLSL/Graphics/Compute All-in-One (Paperback) makes several valuable points about compute, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of WebGL seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to GLSL. That said, the sections on graphics are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in GLSL, this could be a truly outstanding work.
