I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Data Visualization+Blender/Scripting/Python All-in-One (Paperback), but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains visual programming made everything click for me. I've been struggling with open-source tools for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about interactive models - it reminded me so much of my own experience with 3D graphics. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

While Data Visualization+Blender/Scripting/Python All-in-One (Paperback) makes several valuable points about data storytelling, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of animation seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to Python. That said, the sections on scientific visualization are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in interactive models, this could be a truly outstanding work.
