While 101 Blender Scripting Projects (Paperback) makes several valuable points about Blender API, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of Blender API seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to Blender scripting. That said, the sections on Blender scripting are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in Blender API, this could be a truly outstanding work.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with 101 Blender Scripting Projects (Paperback), but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains 3D projects made everything click for me. I've been struggling with creative coding for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about Python - it reminded me so much of my own experience with 3D projects. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

101 Blender Scripting Projects (Paperback) is a comprehensive exploration of Blender scripting that manages to be both accessible to newcomers and valuable to experts. The book is divided into 4 sections, each building thoughtfully on the last. Part 1's discussion of Blender API is particularly strong, with clear examples and practical applications. The diagrams and illustrations throughout help clarify complex ideas, and the chapter summaries are excellent for review. My only minor critique is that some examples felt dated, but this doesn't detract from the overall quality. This will undoubtedly become a standard reference in the field.
