While JavaScript is NOT a Toy makes several valuable points about javascript, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of javascript seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to javascript. That said, the sections on simulation are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in simulation, this could be a truly outstanding work.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with JavaScript is NOT a Toy, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains javascript made everything click for me. I've been struggling with simulation for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about simulation - it reminded me so much of my own experience with simulation. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

I've been applying the principles from JavaScript is NOT a Toy to my work in javascript and seeing amazing results! Specifically, the part about simulation has been transformative.

Has anyone else noticed how JavaScript is NOT a Toy relates to javascript? I was reading about javascript and it made me think of chapter 9.
