I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with WebGPU & WGSL Essentials: A Hands-On Approach to Interactive Graphics, Games, 2D Interfaces, 3D Meshes, Animation, Security and Production, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains visualization made everything click for me. I've been struggling with webgpu for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about simulation - it reminded me so much of my own experience with wgsl. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

While WebGPU & WGSL Essentials: A Hands-On Approach to Interactive Graphics, Games, 2D Interfaces, 3D Meshes, Animation, Security and Production makes several valuable points about simulation, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of compute seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to simulation. That said, the sections on visualization are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in webgpu, this could be a truly outstanding work.

Has anyone else noticed how WebGPU & WGSL Essentials: A Hands-On Approach to Interactive Graphics, Games, 2D Interfaces, 3D Meshes, Animation, Security and Production relates to graphics? I was reading about visualization and it made me think of chapter 9.
