While Foundations of Graphics & Compute: Volume 3: Computing makes several valuable points about webgpu, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of graphics seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to shader. That said, the sections on shader are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in programming, this could be a truly outstanding work.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Foundations of Graphics & Compute: Volume 3: Computing, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains shader made everything click for me. I've been struggling with ai for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about wgsl - it reminded me so much of my own experience with programming. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

As a scholar in webgpu, I found Foundations of Graphics & Compute: Volume 3: Computing to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to webgpu is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of shader, which offers a compelling framework for understanding programming. While some may argue that compute, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about webgpu.

Discussion: What did everyone think of the author's treatment of simulation? I found it less convincing compared to other works in the field.
