While Foundations of Graphics & Compute: Volume 1: Primer makes several valuable points about graphics, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of programming seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to graphics. That said, the sections on programming are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in compute, this could be a truly outstanding work.

As a scholar in programming, I found Foundations of Graphics & Compute: Volume 1: Primer to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to graphics is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of graphics, which offers a compelling framework for understanding graphics. While some may argue that programming, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about programming.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Foundations of Graphics & Compute: Volume 1: Primer, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains graphics made everything click for me. I've been struggling with programming for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about compute - it reminded me so much of my own experience with programming. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

Can someone help me understand graphics from chapter 4? I'm struggling to see how it connects to programming.
