I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Data Visualization+Blender/Scripting/Python All-in-One (Paperback), but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains open-source tools made everything click for me. I've been struggling with interactive models for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about interactive models - it reminded me so much of my own experience with 3D graphics. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

While Data Visualization+Blender/Scripting/Python All-in-One (Paperback) makes several valuable points about visual programming, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of visual programming seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to open-source tools. That said, the sections on scientific visualization are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in Data visualization, this could be a truly outstanding work.

Can someone help me understand Python from chapter 6? I'm struggling to see how it connects to data storytelling.
