Fantastic book! Clear, concise, and packed with useful information about ray tracing. Highly recommended!

While Ray-Tracing Pocket Book (Paperback) makes several valuable points about ray tracing, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of 3D seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to visual effects. That said, the sections on ray tracing are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in visual effects, this could be a truly outstanding work.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Ray-Tracing Pocket Book (Paperback), but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains 3D made everything click for me. I've been struggling with visual effects for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about visual effects - it reminded me so much of my own experience with ray tracing. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

Can someone help me understand rendering from chapter 6? I'm struggling to see how it connects to rendering.

Has anyone else noticed how Ray-Tracing Pocket Book (Paperback) relates to ray tracing? I was reading about graphics and it made me think of chapter 10.
