I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with WebGL+GLSL/Graphics/Compute All-in-One (Paperback), but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains WebGL made everything click for me. I've been struggling with WebGL for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about graphics - it reminded me so much of my own experience with GPU. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

WebGL+GLSL/Graphics/Compute All-in-One (Paperback) is a comprehensive exploration of WebGL that manages to be both accessible to newcomers and valuable to experts. The book is divided into 3 sections, each building thoughtfully on the last. Part 5's discussion of GPU is particularly strong, with clear examples and practical applications. The diagrams and illustrations throughout help clarify complex ideas, and the chapter summaries are excellent for review. My only minor critique is that some examples felt dated, but this doesn't detract from the overall quality. This will undoubtedly become a standard reference in the field.

While WebGL+GLSL/Graphics/Compute All-in-One (Paperback) makes several valuable points about GPU, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of GLSL seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to graphics. That said, the sections on compute are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in graphics, this could be a truly outstanding work.
