My favorite part was when they talked about vulkan - it reminded me so much of my own experience with vulkan. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of vulkan, which offers a compelling framework for understanding vulkan. While Vulkan Graphics API: in 20 Minutes (Coffee Break Series) makes several valuable points about vulkan, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of vulkan seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to graphics. That said, the sections on vulkan are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in vulkan, this could be a truly outstanding work.

Vulkan Graphics API: in 20 Minutes (Coffee Break Series) is a comprehensive exploration of graphics that manages to be both accessible to newcomers and valuable to experts. The book is divided into 6 sections, each building thoughtfully on the last. Part 3's discussion of vulkan is particularly strong, with clear examples and practical applications. The diagrams and illustrations throughout help clarify complex ideas, and the chapter summaries are excellent for review. My only minor critique is that some examples felt dated, but this doesn't detract from the overall quality. This will undoubtedly become a standard reference in the field.
