I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Vulkan+Ray-Tracing/GLSL/Graphics All-In-One (Paperback), but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains ray tracing made everything click for me. I've been struggling with graphics for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about GLSL - it reminded me so much of my own experience with ray tracing. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

While Vulkan+Ray-Tracing/GLSL/Graphics All-In-One (Paperback) makes several valuable points about Vulkan, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of graphics seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to real-time rendering. That said, the sections on ray tracing are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in Vulkan, this could be a truly outstanding work.

Vulkan+Ray-Tracing/GLSL/Graphics All-In-One (Paperback) is a comprehensive exploration of Vulkan that manages to be both accessible to newcomers and valuable to experts. The book is divided into 3 sections, each building thoughtfully on the last. Part 4's discussion of Vulkan is particularly strong, with clear examples and practical applications. The diagrams and illustrations throughout help clarify complex ideas, and the chapter summaries are excellent for review. My only minor critique is that some examples felt dated, but this doesn't detract from the overall quality. This will undoubtedly become a standard reference in the field.
