Real-Time Ray-Tracing with Vulkan for the Impatient is a comprehensive exploration of graphics that manages to be both accessible to newcomers and valuable to experts. The book is divided into 6 sections, each building thoughtfully on the last. Part 1's discussion of vulkan is particularly strong, with clear examples and practical applications. The diagrams and illustrations throughout help clarify complex ideas, and the chapter summaries are excellent for review. My only minor critique is that some examples felt dated, but this doesn't detract from the overall quality. This will undoubtedly become a standard reference in the field.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Real-Time Ray-Tracing with Vulkan for the Impatient, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains graphics made everything click for me. I've been struggling with compute for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about vulkan - it reminded me so much of my own experience with graphics. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

As a scholar in graphics, I found Real-Time Ray-Tracing with Vulkan for the Impatient to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to vulkan is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of graphics, which offers a compelling framework for understanding shader. While some may argue that graphics, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about graphics.

While Real-Time Ray-Tracing with Vulkan for the Impatient makes several valuable points about vulkan, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of ray-tracing seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to compute. That said, the sections on vulkan are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in vulkan, this could be a truly outstanding work.
