I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with LaTeX Explained, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains latex made everything click for me. I've been struggling with latex for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about editing - it reminded me so much of my own experience with editing. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

As a scholar in latex, I found LaTeX Explained to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to latex is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of latex, which offers a compelling framework for understanding scripting. While some may argue that editing, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about latex.

While LaTeX Explained makes several valuable points about latex, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of latex seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to editing. That said, the sections on editing are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in scripting, this could be a truly outstanding work.
