101 Generative AI Projects: Diffusion Models, Transformers, ChatGPT, and Other LLMs (Paperback) is a comprehensive exploration of Generative AI that manages to be both accessible to newcomers and valuable to experts. The book is divided into 8 sections, each building thoughtfully on the last. Part 1's discussion of transformers is particularly strong, with clear examples and practical applications. The diagrams and illustrations throughout help clarify complex ideas, and the chapter summaries are excellent for review. My only minor critique is that more primary sources would strengthen the argument, but this doesn't detract from the overall quality. This will undoubtedly become a standard reference in the field.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with 101 Generative AI Projects: Diffusion Models, Transformers, ChatGPT, and Other LLMs (Paperback), but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains open-source models made everything click for me. I've been struggling with LLMs for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about text generation - it reminded me so much of my own experience with text generation. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

As a scholar in Generative AI, I found 101 Generative AI Projects: Diffusion Models, Transformers, ChatGPT, and Other LLMs (Paperback) to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to transformers is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of open-source models, which offers a compelling framework for understanding Generative AI. While some may argue that open-source models, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about Generative AI.

While 101 Generative AI Projects: Diffusion Models, Transformers, ChatGPT, and Other LLMs (Paperback) makes several valuable points about transformers, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of deep learning seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to LLMs. That said, the sections on Generative AI are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in ChatGPT, this could be a truly outstanding work.
