While Vulkan Compute: High-Performance Compute Programming with Vulkan and Compute Shaders makes several valuable points about compute, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of simulation seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to ai. That said, the sections on vulkan are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in programming, this could be a truly outstanding work.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Vulkan Compute: High-Performance Compute Programming with Vulkan and Compute Shaders, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains programming made everything click for me. I've been struggling with ai for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about vulkan - it reminded me so much of my own experience with shader. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

Has anyone else noticed how Vulkan Compute: High-Performance Compute Programming with Vulkan and Compute Shaders relates to compute? I was reading about shader and it made me think of chapter 5.
