I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with WebGPU Development Pixels: Shader Programming, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains webgpu made everything click for me. I've been struggling with shader for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about simulation - it reminded me so much of my own experience with programming. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

While WebGPU Development Pixels: Shader Programming makes several valuable points about wgsl, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of programming seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to wgsl. That said, the sections on programming are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in simulation, this could be a truly outstanding work.

Can someone help me understand wgsl from chapter 4? I'm struggling to see how it connects to simulation.
