I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Data Visualization+Blender/Scripting/Python All-in-One (Paperback), but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains scientific visualization made everything click for me. I've been struggling with Blender scripting for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about data storytelling - it reminded me so much of my own experience with Python. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

While Data Visualization+Blender/Scripting/Python All-in-One (Paperback) makes several valuable points about open-source tools, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of Python seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to interactive models. That said, the sections on visual programming are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in scientific visualization, this could be a truly outstanding work.

Can someone help me understand Blender scripting from chapter 10? I'm struggling to see how it connects to interactive models.
