I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with WebGPU Data Visualization Cookbook: (2nd Edition), but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains compute made everything click for me. I've been struggling with webgpu for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about visualization - it reminded me so much of my own experience with wgsl. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

While WebGPU Data Visualization Cookbook: (2nd Edition) makes several valuable points about simulation, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of wgsl seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to webgpu. That said, the sections on shader are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in visualization, this could be a truly outstanding work.

As a scholar in webgpu, I found WebGPU Data Visualization Cookbook: (2nd Edition) to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to simulation is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of compute, which offers a compelling framework for understanding simulation. While some may argue that simulation, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about webgpu.
