As a scholar in Game Animation, I found Game Animation Programming to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to Interactive Animation is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of Inverse Kinematics, which offers a compelling framework for understanding Ragdoll Physics. While some may argue that Interactive Animation, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about Game Animation.

While Game Animation Programming makes several valuable points about Interactive Animation, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of Ragdoll Physics seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to Game Animation. That said, the sections on Physics Simulation are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in Computer Graphics, this could be a truly outstanding work.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Game Animation Programming, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains Inverse Kinematics made everything click for me. I've been struggling with Interactive Animation for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about Procedural Animation - it reminded me so much of my own experience with Programming. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

Has anyone else noticed how Game Animation Programming relates to Inverse Kinematics? I was reading about Game Animation and it made me think of chapter 11.
