While Foundations of Graphics & Compute: Volume 5: Ray-Tracing makes several valuable points about webgpu, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of webgpu seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to ray-tracing. That said, the sections on ray-tracing are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in ray-tracing, this could be a truly outstanding work.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Foundations of Graphics & Compute: Volume 5: Ray-Tracing, but wow! It completely blew me away.
