I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Debugging The Uncanny Valley, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains Human-Computer Interaction made everything click for me. I've been struggling with Human-Computer Interaction for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about Robotics Psychology - it reminded me so much of my own experience with Synthetic Faces. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

While Debugging The Uncanny Valley makes several valuable points about Robotics Psychology, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of AI and Emotion seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to Avatar Design. That said, the sections on Robotics Psychology are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in AI and Emotion, this could be a truly outstanding work.

Has anyone else noticed how Debugging The Uncanny Valley relates to Avatar Design? I was reading about Human Perception and it made me think of chapter 2.
