I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with The Responsible XR Playbook, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains Responsible Innovation made everything click for me. I've been struggling with Privacy in XR for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about Virtual Reality Ethics - it reminded me so much of my own experience with Human-Centered Design. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

As a scholar in Extended Reality, I found The Responsible XR Playbook to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to Privacy in XR is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of Responsible Innovation, which offers a compelling framework for understanding Human-Centered Design. While some may argue that Immersive Technology, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about Extended Reality.

While The Responsible XR Playbook makes several valuable points about Privacy in XR, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of XR Safety seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to Human-Centered Design. That said, the sections on Privacy in XR are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in Extended Reality, this could be a truly outstanding work.

The Responsible XR Playbook is a comprehensive exploration of Extended Reality that manages to be both accessible to newcomers and valuable to experts. The book is divided into 5 sections, each building thoughtfully on the last. Part 2's discussion of Privacy in XR is particularly strong, with clear examples and practical applications. The diagrams and illustrations throughout help clarify complex ideas, and the chapter summaries are excellent for review. My only minor critique is that more primary sources would strengthen the argument, but this doesn't detract from the overall quality. This will undoubtedly become a standard reference in the field.

Has anyone else noticed how The Responsible XR Playbook relates to XR Safety? I was reading about Human-Centered Design and it made me think of chapter 7.
