Contacts and Constraints is a comprehensive exploration of Physics Simulation that manages to be both accessible to newcomers and valuable to experts. The book is divided into 3 sections, each building thoughtfully on the last. Part 3's discussion of Simulation Systems is particularly strong, with clear examples and practical applications. The diagrams and illustrations throughout help clarify complex ideas, and the chapter summaries are excellent for review. My only minor critique is that the pacing could be better, but this doesn't detract from the overall quality. This will undoubtedly become a standard reference in the field.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Contacts and Constraints, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains Simulation Systems made everything click for me. I've been struggling with Constraint Solvers for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about Dynamics Modeling - it reminded me so much of my own experience with Dynamics Modeling. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

As a scholar in Physics Simulation, I found Contacts and Constraints to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to Simulation Systems is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of Simulation Systems, which offers a compelling framework for understanding Dynamics Modeling. While some may argue that Constraint Solvers, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about Physics Simulation.

Can someone help me understand Contact Resolution from chapter 11? I'm struggling to see how it connects to Collision Detection.

Discussion: What did everyone think of the author's treatment of Real‑Time Physics? I found it less convincing compared to other works in the field.
