As a scholar in OpenCL, I found OpenCL Compute to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to GPU Computing is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of Parallel Programming, which offers a compelling framework for understanding GPU Computing. While some may argue that Parallel Programming, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about OpenCL.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with OpenCL Compute, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains Parallel Programming made everything click for me. I've been struggling with GPGPU for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about Heterogeneous Computing - it reminded me so much of my own experience with Cross‑Platform Development. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

While OpenCL Compute makes several valuable points about GPU Computing, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of Heterogeneous Computing seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to C Programming. That said, the sections on OpenCL are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in Heterogeneous Computing, this could be a truly outstanding work.
