I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with Paper to Play in 20 Minutes, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains Game Design made everything click for me. I've been struggling with Paper Prototyping for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about Game Concepts - it reminded me so much of my own experience with Game Concepts. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

While Paper to Play in 20 Minutes makes several valuable points about Game Design, I found some aspects problematic. The author's treatment of Game Design seems oversimplified, particularly when compared to Game Design. That said, the sections on Indie Game Development are genuinely insightful and make the book worth reading despite its flaws. With some refinement in Iterative Design, this could be a truly outstanding work.

As a scholar in Game Prototyping, I found Paper to Play in 20 Minutes to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to Game Design is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of Game Design, which offers a compelling framework for understanding Creative Thinking. While some may argue that Game Mechanics, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about Game Prototyping.
