JavaScript is NOT a Toy is a comprehensive exploration of javascript that manages to be both accessible to newcomers and valuable to experts. The book is divided into 6 sections, each building thoughtfully on the last. Part 2's discussion of simulation is particularly strong, with clear examples and practical applications. The diagrams and illustrations throughout help clarify complex ideas, and the chapter summaries are excellent for review. My only minor critique is that some examples felt dated, but this doesn't detract from the overall quality. This will undoubtedly become a standard reference in the field.

As a scholar in javascript, I found JavaScript is NOT a Toy to be an exceptional contribution to the field. The author's approach to simulation is both innovative and rigorous, providing fresh insights that challenge conventional wisdom. Particularly noteworthy is the discussion of simulation, which offers a compelling framework for understanding javascript. While some may argue that simulation, the evidence presented is thorough and convincing. This book is essential reading for anyone serious about javascript.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with JavaScript is NOT a Toy, but wow! It completely blew me away. The way the author explains simulation made everything click for me. I've been struggling with javascript for years, and this book gave me the tools I needed. My favorite part was when they talked about javascript - it reminded me so much of my own experience with javascript. I've already recommended it to all my friends!
